Roofing - Shingles

Shingles are the most common type of roofing material, and your first defense against the weather elements. The choices available can be mind boggling, so give A. Tanner & Sons a call. They've been in the roofing business for over 60 years, so they truly know what type of shingle would be best for your home.

They carry TAMKO laminated asphalt shingles, featuring the American Heritage Series that resemble the elegance of wood shakes. These beautiful shingles carry a 30 and 50 year limited warranty (ask us for warranty details), are U.L. listed for Class A fire resistance and come with Algae Relief. Colors range from a variety of browns, greys, and deep reds. Before the first shingle is installed, A. Tanner & Sons will put down a roofing underlayment for extra protection from wind blown rain and ice damming. TAMKO hip and ridge shingles will provide the finishing touch, and don't forget to install TAMKO ventilation products to assure proper ventilation.

The Landmark series from CertainTeed is another quality asphalt shingle provided by A. Tanner & Sons. Choose from three levels of high performance shingles in weight and thickness. The Landmark 245 pound shingles carry a 30 year warranty (ask us for warranty details); the Landmark Plus 265 pound shingles have a 40 year warranty (ask us for warranty details) and the Premium 300 pound shingles carry a lifetime warranty (ask us for warranty details). Their color choices are even more varied--and include greens, blues, and blacks. As with the TAMKO, CertainTeed also has underlayment, hip and ridge cap shingles, and ventilation products.
